Morocco: thunderstorms in the Atlas and rise in temperatures this Thursday, October 24

The General Directorate of Meteorology announces Thursday October 24, 2024 marked by meteorological instabilityparticularly in mountainous regions, while the mercury continues to rise in several regions of the Kingdom.

Stormy conditions on the reliefs

The Middle Atlas and the north of the High Atlas will be particularly affected by localized stormy showers. This instability will also extend to the eastern slopes of these massifs, creating potentially difficult weather conditions for the inhabitants of these regions.

The Rif and the south of the Oriental will not be sparedwith showers and thunderstorms expected throughout the day. The Phosphate plateaus and the Oulmès region will also experience cloudy periods accompanied by localized showers.
